So I <a href=\"https:\/\/www.christineguestdesigns.com\/blog\/double-increases-a-comparison\/\">started a project<\/a> to catalog double increases (that worked around a single stitch, not between stitches like a double yarn over) \u00a0Then <a href=\"https:\/\/gannetdesigns.com\/\">Naomi\u00a0from String Geekery<\/a> recommended some increases I hadn&#8217;t thought about, so I added <a href=\"https:\/\/www.christineguestdesigns.com\/blog\/more-double-increase-swatches\/\">some more swatches.<\/a>\u00a0I&#8217;ve so far looked individually at\n<ul>\n \t<li><span style=\"color: yellow;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.christineguestdesigns.com\/blog\/k1-kb-pick-up-the-stitch-again-and-k1-a-tutorial\/\">K1, kb, pick up the stitch again and k1<\/a>, the yellow swatch.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.christineguestdesigns.com\/blog\/k1-p1-k1-in-one-stitch-or-p1-k1-p1-in-one-stitch-a-tutorial\/\">K1, p1, k1 in one stitch, or p1, k1, p1 in one stitch<\/a>, <span style=\"color: darkorange;\">the orange swatch.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><a href=\"http:\/\/k, over, k, or p, over, p: a tutorial\">k, over, k, or p, over, p: a tutorial<\/a>\u00a0The <span style=\"color: olive;\">Green\/Gold\/Medicinal Honey swatch.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.christineguestdesigns.com\/blog\/lli-k1-rli-and-rli-k1-lli-a-tutorial\/\">LLI, K1, RLI, and RLI, K1, LLI, a tutorial<\/a>, <span style=\"color: saddlebrown;\">the Brown Swatches.<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.christineguestdesigns.com\/blog\/tree-increase-tutorial\/\">The Christmas Tree Increase with two loops<\/a>,\u00a0<span style=\"color: grey;\">The grey swatch<\/span><\/li>\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.christineguestdesigns.com\/blog\/cdi-again-because-i-goofed-last-time\/\">Kb, k, pick up the bar increase and knit it twisted, or p1b, p1, pick up the strand between the sts and purl it twisted; a tutorial<\/a> the white swatch.<\/li>\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.christineguestdesigns.com\/blog\/m1r-k1-m1l-and-m1l-k1-m1r-a-tutorial\/\">M1r, k1, m1L and m1L, k1, m1r; a tutorial<\/a> <span style=\"color: darkgreen;\">the dark green swatches.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\nIf you are wanting to see a comparison of decreases:\n<ul>\n \t<li>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gannetdesigns.com\/2016\/06\/06\/double-decreases-redux\/\">Naomi has a post about the six 3-1 decreases<\/a>.<\/li>\n \t<li>She also has a post about the <a href=\"https:\/\/gannetdesigns.com\/2010\/12\/12\/bunny-ears-back\/\">Bunny Ears Increase<\/a>.<\/li>\n \t<li><a href=\"https:\/\/gannetdesigns.com\/2017\/02\/13\/three-2-to-3-increases\/\">And she created matching decreases!<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As I was developing the motifs for the illicium blanket, I used several increases for their decorative options; some of what worked surprised me!
