Often I get ideas while working on a current project and that\u2019s why I always have a pad next to me to dot down the idea, and more often than not that idea turns out to be the stepping-stone and as I start working it evolves into something completely different than I originally imagined, which think is the best part of the designing process.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.christineguestdesigns.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Intro_3_medium2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1696\" alt=\"Intro_3_medium2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.christineguestdesigns.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Intro_3_medium2-225x300.jpg\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.christineguestdesigns.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Intro_3_medium2-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.christineguestdesigns.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Intro_3_medium2.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>Do you usually finish projects? If not, does it bother you?<\/em><br \/>\nI have several projects still waiting to be finished, but I am certainly not bothered by that because they are projects I started to make for myself and that\u2019s why I don\u2019t get upset. I have my hands full of orders and they understandably get to be finished in time \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><em>How do you choose a pattern when you are going to make someone else\u2019s design?<\/em><br \/>\nFirst I always think about the person I am going to make it for &#8211; would the style fit and if she\/he really needs it and would love having it. And those are the things that help me choose someone else\u2019s design.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.christineguestdesigns.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Bohemian_Bracelet__2_medium2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1697\" alt=\"Bohemian_Bracelet__2_medium2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.christineguestdesigns.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Bohemian_Bracelet__2_medium2-300x270.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"270\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.christineguestdesigns.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Bohemian_Bracelet__2_medium2-300x270.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.christineguestdesigns.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/Bohemian_Bracelet__2_medium2.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>What makes you feel you\u2019ve gotten you money\u2019s worth when you buy someone else\u2019s pattern?<\/em><br \/>\nWhen it doesn\u2019t give me headaches \ud83d\ude42<br \/>\nI love when the pattern is intelligible and clearly explained and the progress goes smooth which make the making time quite enjoyable. And if I feel great wearing that particular piece.<\/p>\n<p><em>What have you learned from being part of the GAL and if this is your first year, what made the GAL look cool to you?<\/em><br \/>\nWell, I learned about the GAL through lovely Kimberly of 80 Skeins (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.arounttheworldin80skeins.com\">http:\/\/www.arounttheworldin80skeins.com<\/a>) and so far I\u2019ve learned and felt that it is a superb, warm, kind community of designers ready to help and share love and knowledge. I\u2019ve met many new incredible designers I didn\u2019t know they existed and I know that others learnt about me too. I love the aspect of unselfish promotion throughout the social media &#8211; which in the GAL case is extremely well-organized, thorough and overwhelming!
