I’m a bit removed from time right now, it still feels like Christmas to me, and we’ve passed Epiphany.\u00a0 So the New Year really feels new to me.<\/p>\n

I had surgery on Christmas Eve and came home 4 days later. My family and church are taking wonderful care of me; I’m taking long walks, but not lifting tea kettles (or anything heavier than a tea kettle, my kids keep tabs on me).\u00a0 Several more things than we expected seem to have been fixed by the procedure, and I squeaked though my insurance deadline when my deductible was still paid.<\/p>\n

I’ve started writing some crocheted mitts based on the Half Moon Mitts. One section says, “FIGURE THIS PART OUT AND WRITE IT.”<\/p>\n

I thought that might make you chuckle.<\/p>\n
