On my wedding anniversary in 2016 my husband surprised me with a completed trip plan to the New York Sheep and Wool Festival. When we explored the book signing area, Nicky Epstein complimented Dan on his sweater, Dan pointed to me.<\/p>\n
“It\u2019s 17 years old.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mr Epstein paused in hauling books, \u201cShe says I\u2019m on her waiting list, I haven\u2019t gotten a sweater in 17 years either.\u201d<\/p>\n
I said, \u201cIt\u2019s all those photography samples she has to make,\u201d<\/p>\n
Mr Epstein said, \u201cThat\u2019s what she says.\u201d<\/p>\n
Nicky Epstein said, \u201cThat\u2019s my story and I\u2019m sticking with it.\u201d<\/p>\n
If you have loved her books and patterns over the years, she was as lovely in person, so was Mr Epstein.<\/p>\n
