lay their eggs in ponds (like Salmon).\u00a0 Unlike Salmon, Herring live after spawning! Then they turn around and swim back out to sea. They sound as persistent as knitters.\u00a0 Dan and I took photos at the Oliver Mill Park in Middleborough, MA, as well as at the cement fish ladder in town, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.christineguestdesigns.com\/blog\/how-did-i-get-such-wonderful-photos-for-the-herring-run-sweater\/\">that is it&#8217;s own href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/Cn5WTPXL\">(KnitEcoChic)<\/a> described the sweater construction as a shawl that you add sleeves to, with a fun stitch pattern.\u00a0 The neckline is adjusted so that the front is lowered, so there will be no forthcoming accusations of Adam&#8217;s Apple strangling here!<\/p><p>The pattern is full of charts, written instructions, diagrams, and fitting notes.\u00a0 \u00a0Just turning the angle 45 degrees makes the construction a little exciting at a few spots, so there will be a KAL on Slack, with\u00a0 the invitation in the pattern.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p>The Square root of 2 comes into play in fitting choices.\u00a0 Mrs Izzy, I&#8217;m so glad that we covered right isosceles triangles in Trig class, I could hear your voice
