{"id":770,"date":"2012-10-24T21:34:57","date_gmt":"2012-10-24T21:34:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/christineguestdesigns.com\/blog\/?p=770"},"modified":"2012-10-24T21:34:57","modified_gmt":"2012-10-24T21:34:57","slug":"i-finished-the-dracoclava-now-i-need-more-sunday-knitting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.christineguestdesigns.com\/blog\/i-finished-the-dracoclava-now-i-need-more-sunday-knitting\/","title":{"rendered":"I finished the Dracoclava, now I need more Sunday Knitting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I was reading <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dull-roar.com\/\">Dull Roar<\/a> two weeks ago, and saw the list of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dull-roar.com\/2012\/10\/knit-your-way-to-halloween-awesomeness.html\">handmade costume elements<\/a>, and showed B the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/dracoclava\">Dracoclava<\/a> mask.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ourcurioushome.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/S6302563.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-786488\" title=\"B in the Dracoclava hat\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ourcurioushome.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/S6302563.jpg\" alt=\"B in the Dracoclava hat\" width=\"480\" height=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The yarn is so dark green it&#8217;s almost black, but I had it in the stash, so the price was right.  It&#8217;s a bit scratchy though.  I referenced the pattern notes on other projects, the directions are idiosyncratic, but the F.O. is terrific.  Even though I made the ears lopsided.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ourcurioushome.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/S6302564.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-786487\" title=\"M getting dramatic in the background\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ourcurioushome.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/10\/S6302564.jpg\" alt=\"Why our photo shoot got shorted (No one was actually injured)\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>M decided the photo shoot needed more drama.
