Last year&#8217;s design notebook had graph paper included with the blank paper and lined paper, but I had to chart where the graph paper was put, not put the graphs with the rest of the sketches and notes.  I hadn&#8217;t realized just how useful the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rainbowresource.com\/product\/sku\/016160\/4b4467a2376850b1383b2fc5\">smaller stamps<\/a> will be until <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/people\/primenumbergirl\">primenumbergirl<\/a> pointed out on Ravelry that they would fit in the margin notes in the first two Treasuries of Knitting that don&#8217;t have charts.  I&#8217;ve done it and they fit perfectly.  The polar stamp will come in handy for first whacks at leaves, petals and other natural stuff.<\/p>\n<p>My son wants to borrow them for math homework too.  We&#8217;ll see.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/christineguestdesigns.com\/blog\/?attachment_id=872\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-872\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.eagleswingscoop.org\/christineguestdesigns\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/S63030351-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"Books I got for Christmas\" title=\"Books I got for Christmas\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-872\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been studying the pattern layouts in California Revival Knits a lot.  I had never thought of making a chart so tiny, but it&#8217;s still clear, and since all the Cooperative Press books are sold with a download you can always print that one page larger. (All the books purchased from their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cooperativepress.com\/shop\/\">store<\/a> are like that, I&#8217;m not sure what happens if you buy the hard copy from an LYS or bookstore)  I&#8217;ve been looking forward to reading this book ever since <a href=\"http:\/\/christineguestdesigns.com\/blog\/?p=211\">I interviewed Stephannie Tallent<\/a>, the author.  And I&#8217;m so glad I asked for it too &#8211; wow, just the wrought series is worth price, and the rest of the book is delightful too.<\/p>\n<p>Hey, want me to buy your book?  Let me interview you!<\/p>\n<p>The two <a href=\"http:\/\/www.edieeckman.com\/books-2\/\">Edie Eckman books<\/a> are a joy.
