Sample Knitter: I love this yarn. It’s soft, but not limp, and the color is like that perfect skirt I had when B was a baby.” width=”225″ height=”300″ class=”alignright size-medium wp-image-193″>
Butterfly the Visual Inspiration Girl: What else can we do with it? Color work? Is it good for lace?
Mamma Bear the Realist about the Rest of Life: It felts nicely, some threads went through the laundry in my pocket, they turned into a perfect little ball.
Sample Knitter: I’m not sure about other projects, I’m only 1/4 of the way done with this one. I feel like I’m back in Jr High reading Moby Dick.

Sample Knitter: At first I calculated it would take me 25 pages a night, then 35, then 50. At first I calculated I’d finish this sample if I made 8 rows a day, then 10, now 12.
Mamma Bear: Do you want me to find you a video Sample Knitter? It does make the fingers fly.
Sample Knitter: Oh, I think Dan and the boys will put old episodes of Space 1999 on again, just 7 rows to go today. Good thing I love this yarn!
Butterfly: But I’ve got so many good ideas!
Editor: Here’s a pencil, draw them out in the notebook.
