Some aspects of internet knitting are like Ham Radio. You make friends all around the world, and care about events that don’t make your local news. Marcela Chang wrote Desert in Bloom for the Identity Collection inspired by the Atacama Desert of her childhood.
She translated all of our patterns into Spanish for us, while the demonstrations took place in Chile this month. It’s an honor to get to know her.
