I’ve been trying to think of designs for 4 different magazine submission calls. If I start publishing in magazines a little more, they pay the start up costs, and I get paid something. When I self pub, I bear all the risks. The last 4 designs have been Cinderellas. So, I need to learn some more about the market? I need to advertise more? I need to be hopeful until September when everyone feels like cozying up to warm wool again? I need to make that sample in summer yarns up?
Butterfly is working overtime these last few weeks. When I lie down, I see things turning into other things and I’m not even asleep yet; like zippers growing into fish with lots of teeth, and tiles spinning into stars. I think she’s mad at me that I haven’t bought her new jell pens.
