I’d like to see knitters buy (or borrow from the library) a how to alter a pattern book, learn to draw their own croquis of themselves, and look up how to calculate yarn substitutions, how much more yarn to buy for alterations is tricky, but here is a great explanation in the chapter about the value of schematics.

Why the movie clips?  Well, they are funny.  I think this is where I got my view of the fashion industry.  Where did yours come from?
